Meet Miss Moroney

Untitled

Hi! My name is JoEllyn Moroney and I am Schilling School’s K-4 music teacher!  I was born and raised and now reside in Oak Forest. I attended Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights. I was involved in the marching band, choir, & drama department, and it was here I decided to pursue music education & performance as my career.  I earned my bachelors degree in Vocal Performance & Music Education from Trinity Christian College and a masters degree in Educational Leadership from Lewis University. I further my education every chance I get through classes and trainings both virtually and in person at Vandercook College of Music and DePaul University’s School of Music. LEARNING IS GREAT!

Most recently I taught at LaGrange School District 105 where I was also the Fine Arts Coordinator & directed both the middle school musical “Into the Woods” and the district Elementary Choir.

I am so excited to teach your children and have some spectacular learning experiences and performances together!
