According to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), music is a core subject in the American public school system. I ensure that each student receives a well rounded music education by adhering to the above expectations. Students help support each other's music education by following the expectations above. Consequences in the music room are as follows:

1st warning - Verbal Warning

2nd warning - Verbal Warning

3rd warning - Student is sent to the rest chair. This time is to be spent observing an activity while still allowing the student to learn from the lesson. 

4th warning - Office Referral & Communication w/ parent
*Office referral may occur without warning depending on the severity of the behavior
